Two kittens
A $200 discount applies when both kittens come from the same litter.
Deposit
The waitlist is optional. A $300 non refundable deposit reserves your place in line and applies toward your kitten’s price. Once you have been awarded a kitten the $300 deposit is due at that time, and if you already paid it to join the waitlist it carries straight over.
No, never, under any circumstances. Every kitten is placed as an indoor pet only, spayed or neutered before going home.
Genetic screening is done on our breeding parents, not on individual kittens. We screen for HCM by echocardiogram rather than relying on a genetic swab alone, and we also test for FeLV, PKD and run a comprehensive Orivet genetic panel. Genetic testing is done at eight months and the echocardiogram at one year, so our younger cats show those tests as scheduled until they reach that age. Each cat’s current status is shown on its own profile. Every kitten also receives its own vet exam before going home.
Nacoonzi is a closed cattery. You are welcome at the home for pickup at 12 weeks. Kittens can be picked up free at any of our guardian homes, and we will move your kitten to the home nearest you at no added cost. Weekly video calls from 5 weeks onward. You are always welcome to join our kitten group, and anyone with a free application in is welcome to ask for a video call to meet the available kittens.
No. Maine Coons produce the Fel d 1 protein that triggers cat allergies. We do not recommend Maine Coons for anyone with significant cat allergies.

Yes, both. We began with imported cats, including our Italian girl Giuliana Rose, who carries our European bloodlines. Almost all of the cats we flew in have since retired, so nearly every cat in the program today was bred here at Nacoonzi from those American and European lines. Our homegrown cats include CFA Grand Champions Scarcelli of Nacoonzi and Nacoonzi’s Santana.
Kittens here are always with siblings and multiple adults. A bonded pair keeps each other company for life. We offer a $200 discount when you adopt two kittens, but only if both come from the same litter.
Our adults are on Purina Pro Plan and Royal Canin. Kittens start canned food at around four weeks, beginning with Fancy Feast Kitten, and their dry food is Royal Canin Mother & Babycat. We will tell you exactly which canned food your kitten is eating before it goes home. All kittens receive NuVet Plus daily. Order code 14189, auto-ship saves 15%. Order at least 2 weeks before pickup.
One year against genetic conditions confirmed by necropsy. Conditions: vet visit within 72 hours of pickup, NuVet Plus daily for life, indoor-only housing, no declawing.
We never ship kittens as cargo. If your kitten flies, it is always in the cabin, either with you or with a flight nanny.
We can drive your kitten to meet you in Portland (PDX), Pasco (PSC), Seattle (SEA) or Arcata (ACV) for a fee.
A flight nanny can fly your kitten into any airport, starting at $1,500. Final pricing is based on the destination, flight availability, route and any additional travel requirements. All transportation expenses are the buyer’s responsibility. A final quote will be provided before travel is booked. Quotes are only good for 24 hours, as flight costs change regularly. Travel costs are paid before we book the flight, and your kitten must be paid in full before travel day. Travel fees are not refundable.
In person pickup at the guardian home where your kitten was raised is always available at no additional cost.
