The Owners

John & Patty Cruikshank

CFA-registered Maine Coon breeder in Estacada, Oregon since 2014. American and European bloodlines, echocardiogram screening, kittens raised in loving guardian homes.

For twenty years we cared for the feral cats of the surrounding acres. Then in 2014 we met our first Maine Coon.

Who We Are

Thirty years ago, we found our little piece of paradise, a home nestled on five beautiful acres. For the next 20 years, we opened our hearts to feral cats from the hundreds of surrounding acres, providing them with safety, care, and love.

Then, in 2014, we saw a magnificent Maine Coon online and instantly knew one belonged in our family. Our first litter arrived in 2015, and we fell completely in love with the breed’s gentle nature, wonderful personality, and unmistakable charm.

Preserving and improving the Maine Coon breed has since become our life’s passion. We began showing our cats through CFA four years ago and are proud to have produced Champions, Grand Champions, Regional Winners, and even a Grand of Distinction.

Although showing cats is highly competitive, our purpose is always to strengthen the health, temperament, and quality of our breeding program. We believe every kitten is equally special, which is why we never charge more for a kitten simply because they may be show quality.

What We Offer

Why Choose Our Oregon Maine Coons

Most breeders only run a genetic swab. We screen our breeding cats by echocardiogram, the test that actually catches structural heart disease, rather than relying on a genetic swab. Every kitten goes home with its age appropriate vaccinations including rabies, vet-examined, spayed or neutered, microchipped, CFA registered, and insured for 30 days.
