Guardian homes raise kittens and you will sign your contract at the guardian home your kitten is living with. A guardian home can accept a cash payment at pickup. Venmo and PayPal payments must go to Patty directly, never to a guardian home or anyone else.
⚑ Asking for payment via gift cards, wire transfer, Zelle, or cryptocurrency
⚑ Offering kittens at unusually low prices or claiming to offer “free” kittens
⚑ Offering to ship a kitten in cargo, or booking travel before you are approved and under contract. We never ship cargo. Kittens fly in the cabin only, with you or a flight nanny.
⚑ Pressure to pay a deposit immediately without an application or approval
⚑ Using our photos but a different email, phone, or payment account
If you are unsure whether an account or listing is genuine, call Patty directly before sending any money or personal information. We would rather take one extra call than have a family lose money to a scammer.
